AEEE Emerging Leaders Institute

The Emerging Leaders Institute is an innovative multifaceted leadership development program that is designed to strengthen the future potential of the Association.  The Program by continually identify high-potential leaders from the membership preparing them to embrace the increasing levels of responsibility, challenges and opportunities inherent in future leadership roles both within Association and their home institutions.

ELI combines professional development, networking opportunities, and hands-on experiences through ongoing year-round workshops and activities, to help individuals think intentionally and strategically about their own leadership and careers.

  • Council for Opportunity in Education (COE) History
  • Parliamentary Procedures

  • Time and Project Management
  • Advocacy Efforts

Updates:

The Emerging Leaders Institute (ELI) Committee has been working diligently to identify our newest leaders. We  are asking our members to nominate a colleague or staff member to participate in this year's cohort. We are looking for novice (less than 6 years of experience) TRIO professionals wanting to learn more about AEEE and regional service, and/or anyone who is eager to get involved in a greater capacity. Meetings/Trainings will be 1-2 per month, beginning February 2021 and ending at our 44th Annual Conference.
If you yourself are interested in participating, you can bypass the nomination process and APPLY TODAY! All applications are due no later than 11:59pm on Tuesday, January 19th, so don't wait. Declare your own interest now, or let us know who your nominees are!
